DOLPHINS CLOSE OUT SEASONS IN ROAD LOSSES
The Delgado Men’s and Women’s team closed out their respective seasons on Monday night following first-round playoff loses.
DELGADO WOMEN: Meridian led 43-27 at half and never lost control of the game en route to the Dolphins’ 76-65 road loss. Shaquinta James scored 14 and Kayla Jackson scored 10 to lead Delgado.
DELGADO MEN: Southern-Shreveport opened the second half with a 22-point-run to close out the Delgado Men’s season with a 77-56 defeat. Rashaun Claiborne scored 16 and Darrell Williams scored 14 to lead Delgado.
