Delgado traveled to Wesson, Mississippi on Wednesday evening for a Doubleheader against Copaih-Lincoln.
In Game 1, Brent Bonvillain led the Dolphins to a 1-0, four-hit shutout over the Wolfpack. Delgado scored the game’s solo run when Jorden Manalla grounded out to advance Daniel Brockhoeft, who reached base on a single in the 4th inning.
Delgado took an early 7-0 lead in the first two innings of the second game. Alex Prestenbach scored two with his first inning single, in addition to Angelo Bruno and James Davis. Daniel Brockhoeft also homered in the second. Copiah-Lincoln threatened, making the score 7-4 in the third before Delgado answered with two runs in the fourth and an additional run in the top of the seventh. Nate Fury picked up the win in relief of Stone Speer, who exited the game in the third inning.
Delgado will travel to Pensacola this weekend for a four-game series against Pensacola and Gordon College.
