Delgado split Tuesday’s doubleheader against Southwest Mississippi CC in Summit, Mississippi. In the first game, Alex Prestenbach went 3 for 4 with 5 RBI and James Davis went 3 for 4 with 4 RBI to lead the Dolphins to a 18-2 victory. Brent Bonvillain picked up his third win of the season on the mound. 

The second game went scoreless into extra innings until a two-out infield error by the Dolphins scored the solo, winning run in the bottom of the 9th. Josh Wood picked up his first loss of the season in relief of starter Nate Fury.  

Delgado (11-3) will return to action in a doubleheader next Wednesday night in Disney’s Spring Training Invitational at Walt Disney World.
