DELGADO SPLITS MISS-LOU DH AT BATON ROUGE

Delgado split its Miss-Lou conference doubleheader against Baton Rouge Community College on Saturday afternoon at Pete Goldsby Field in Baton Rouge.

In the first game, Brent Bonvillain (7-1) pitched a complete game on the mound to lead Delgado to their 5-4 victory over the Bears.

In Game Two, the Dolphin bats compiled a total of eight hits, but they were not enough to overcome Baton Rouge en route to their 11-5 loss to split the Doubleheader. Scott Fabre and Alex Prestenbach both homered and Sean McMullen had a triple to lead Delgado offensively. Jake Fabre picked up his first loss of the season on the mound for Delgado.

With the split, Delgado moves to 33-10 overall and 4-4 in Miss-Lou Conference play. Baton Rouge and Delgado will play to determine the series in a single, 9-inning game on Sunday at 1:00 at Pete Goldsby Field in Baton Rouge.
