DELGADO OVERPOWERS MERIDIAN IN 11-6 WIN
Delgado defeated Meridian Community College 11-6 in the third game of
this weekend’s Miss-Lou Conference series in Meridian, MS.
Angelo Bruno’s three-run homerun in the top of the 6th gave Delgado
the lead. Following an hour-long rain delay, Delgado scored another
four runs in the top of the eighth to secure the lead an close their
scoring. Jake Fabre got the win in relief of starter Lyndon Eusea.
With the win, the Dolphins improve to 34-13 and 5-7 in Miss-Lou
action. The Dolphins will close out their regular season home schedule
this Tuesday with a 4;00 DH against Copiah-Lincoln at Kirsch-Rooney.
